Canberräng 2022 was a great reminder of the joy and excitement live music and dancing brings to our lives. After such a difficult period for musicians, artists and essential workers in particular over the past two years, having the opportunity to socialise with expression and music was a great reminder of what makes the dance scene so vibrant and enjoyable. Having Hetty Kate fly in from France, along with local musicians Liam Budge, Andrew Dickeson (Sydney), Dan McClean, Valdis Thomann, Wayne Kelly, James Luke and others made this years event a genuine celebration. Canberräng 2022 had some unique and interesting venues: for these photos I shot at The Lake George Winery and Queenies. I hope these photos capture some of the spirit and enjoyment that was abundant throughout the event, they were shot with a couple of different cameras over the weekend, A Hasselblad 501 (the square framed photographs) as well as my Nikon F4 and F5 for the 35mm shots.
